Description
The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) is seeking a contractor to provide counseling services for general education and special education students in grades K-8 at Seba Dalkai Boarding School, located on the Navajo Reservation in Northern Arizona. The contractor will provide individual student counseling, group counseling, parent/guardian communication, and crisis-response counseling. The contractor must meet the requirements outlined in the solicitation, including having a Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field, and being licensed in Arizona.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing one-on-one counseling focused on behavioral, emotional, social, and academic concerns
• Using relevant student background information to guide individualized interventions
• Delivering crisis-response counseling as needed
• Maintaining professional communication with families and staff
• Submitting all required documentation and reports on schedule
The contract period is from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2031, with option years available.
