Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential contractors to provide maintenance and services for the laundry facility at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. The contractor will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements of parts and equipment. The contract will have a base year and four option years. The contractor must have experience in maintaining laundry equipment and must be able to provide certified technicians. The contractor will be required to provide a managed maintenance program, including a computerized maintenance management system, and must be able to obtain parts and materials from authorized distributors.
• The contractor must have knowledge of VA specifications and safety requirements.
• The contractor must be able to provide emergency response services.
• The contractor must be able to provide routine maintenance and repairs.
• The contractor must be able to provide replacement parts and materials.
• The contractor must be able to provide training and certification for technicians.
