Description
The City of Baconton is seeking bids for the construction of the AMR Water Meter Replacement project. The project consists of replacing existing water meters with new AMR water meters, including the installation of approximately 445 water meters, 150 water meter box and lid removal and replacement, 150 curb stop replacements, and 455 backflow preventers. The project will be funded by the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority’s Drinking Water State Revolving Loan fund. The contract will be subject to various conditions, including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements and Davis Bacon & Related Act requirements.
