AML - ETHEL HOLLOW STREAM RESTORATION DESIGN BUILD

The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified Design-Build Entities to provide Progressive Design-Build (PDB) services for the Ethel Hollow Stream Restoration project. The project involves the restoration of 4.46 miles of stream with altered stream flow, reduced overall capacity, and areas where new channels have formed. The goal of this project is to perform reclamation and restoration work within the project area, potentially including the mainstream stems of Ethel Hollow, Little Dark Hollow, Big Dark Hollow and associated tributaries. • The project requires design and construction of elements to stabilize the side slopes and stream banks and establish stream habitat structures to support aquatic life and dissipate stream energy. • The project has a budget of $15 million and is expected to be completed within 24 months. • The WVDEP is looking for a Design-Builder that can provide a collaborative approach to the project, with experience in design-build delivery and a commitment to safety and quality. • The SOQ should demonstrate the Design-Build Team’s ability to undertake the Project by providing technical and management qualifications, including project team organization and personnel experience, design and permitting experience, construction experience, and references.
