RFP for Statewide Farebox Upgrade Project

The State of Connecticut Department of Transportation is seeking proposals for a contractor to provide an all-encompassing Farebox Equipment solutions on its fixed-route bus services in the state of Connecticut. This new system shall consist of integrated fareboxes that are capable of accepting electronic fare payment, distribution, collection and processing system. • The system should be capable of accepting electronic fare payment • The system should be able to distribute, collect and process fares • The system should be integrated with the existing fixed-route bus services • The contractor should provide all necessary equipment and supplies • The contractor should provide maintenance and support services for the system
