Description
The Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority is seeking bids for the construction of Sedimentation Basins Number 7 and 8 Plate Settlers and Trac Vacs at the Bear Creek Water Treatment Plant. The project involves removing and disposing of existing Tube Settlers, installing new Plate Settlers, modifying the Trac Vac Header, and installing new electrical systems. The contractor must hold a Utility Contractors License and meet the Authority's pre-approved contractors list.
• The project requires the removal and disposal of existing Tube Settlers and related items in Sedimentation Basins #7 and #8.
• The contractor must install Authority-purchased Plate Settlers and related items.
• The project includes modifying the existing Trac Vac Header and installing new Trac Vac cable drive, platforms, and electric cable drive units.
• The contractor must remove existing air-operated Trac Vac sludge valves and replace them with new Butterfly Valves with electric operators.
