Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a vendor to provide, configure, and implement an Anatomic Pathology (AP) Specimen Tracking System across three VA pathology labs (St. Louis, MO; Kansas City, MO; and Marion, IL). The solution must integrate with the Federal EHR Baseline and Oracle Health (CareAware and Advanced Barcoding & Tracking), support high‑volume barcode‑driven workflows, and include all required hardware (scanners, label printers, workstations). The contractor will also deliver documentation, testing, training, and ongoing maintenance and support.
• Provide software licenses and hardware (scanners, printers, workstations, servers) for each site.
• Configure the system to integrate with existing Oracle Health CareAware drivers; custom driver development is out‑of‑scope.
• Deliver comprehensive configuration docs, test plans/reports, user manuals, and training (initial, ongoing, and annual refresher).
• Support VA national standardization efforts, ensuring the system can be replicated across sites without custom code changes.
• Offer remote and on‑site technical support, software updates, and warranty/initial support as defined in the contract.
