Description
The project involves maintenance items at three separate backcountry airstrips located within the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, Payette National Forest. The work includes construction, alteration, or repair of the airstrips. The contractor will be required to commence work within 30 calendar days after the date of the notice to proceed and complete the entire work within 515 calendar days. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and is deemed to be the best value to the Government.
• The project requires the contractor to perform work in a remote location with limited access.
• The contractor must have experience with similar projects in geographical conditions similar to this requirement.
• The contractor must provide a technical proposal and a business/price proposal.
• The contractor must have an active entity registration at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/.
• The contractor must submit a signed Standard Form 1442, Solicitation/Offer/Award (Construction, Alteration, Repair), with blocks 14 – 20c completed.
