Pool of Vendors, Master Agreement to Provide Mortuary Services

Texas A&M University Health Science Center is seeking to establish one or more master agreements with qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive suite of mortuary services for its Willed Body Program. The contract will cover removal, transportation, embalming, documentation, delivery, cremation, and holding services, with optional renewal terms up to five years total. Vendors must be licensed by the Texas Funeral Service Commission, carry specified insurance, and submit a W‑9 with any manual bid. The solicitation is open for electronic submission via the AggieBid system, with a hard deadline of 27 August 2026. • Scope includes initial cadaver removal (≤35 mi) plus additional mileage tiers (up to 200 mi) and full embalming, death certificate issuance, cremation (ashes returned or scattered), and daily holding fees. • Mandatory licensing, insurance, and compliance with Texas mortuary regulations; vendors must provide certificates of insurance and may need to submit a VetHUB subcontracting plan for contracts ≥ $100,000. • Payment terms are 100 % Net 30 upon acceptance of services; the estimated annual budget is roughly $100,000, with a base contract term of one year and up to four optional one‑year renewals.
