Description
The project involves the mechanical installation of twenty pre‑purchased self‑contained unit ventilators (SCUVs) at Whitney Elementary School in Memphis. The contractor will demolish existing units, handle all required permitting, install the new SCUVs, replace exterior louvers, perform all necessary electrical work, conduct testing, adjusting & balancing, and provide a one‑year workmanship warranty. The work is scheduled to start after the contract is signed and the equipment is delivered, with an estimated eight‑week construction period.
• Demolition and disposal of existing HVAC equipment (mechanical only).
• Installation of 20 owner‑furnished SCUV units, including anchoring, ductwork, controls, and louvers.
• Full mechanical commissioning, test‑and‑balance reporting, and coordination of permits/inspections.
