Budget estimate

$100,000 – $300,000

The project involves building a short (0.151 mi) road segment with base, asphalt, striping, signage, and erosion‑control measures. Typical rural road construction costs in Mississippi range from $800,000 to $2,000,000 per mile for asphalt surfacing, plus additional costs for drainage and signage. Scaling to 0.151 mi yields an estimated bid amount of roughly $120,000–$300,000, depending on material prices, contractor overhead, and the 5 % bid‑bond requirement. Therefore the expected budget to the winning contractor is likely between $100 k and $300 k.
