RFI Forensic Imaging Interpretation for OCME

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) is seeking information on forensic imaging interpretation and educational instruction services. The services should include the interpretation of postmortem computed tomography (PMCT) studies, preparation of written reports, and consultation to OCME forensic pathologists and staff. The ideal contractor should have experience in supporting medical examiner/coroner systems, producing medico-legal reports, and providing expert testimony. The contractor should also have a scalable service model, secure image ingestion methods, and case tracking and workflow management tools. Some key points to consider: • The contractor should have board-certified radiologists with demonstrated expertise in postmortem imaging. • The contractor should be able to produce medico-legal reports suitable for court use. • The contractor should be available for expert testimony, if required. • The contractor should have a routine case turnaround time of 24-72 hours and priority/stat cases should be completed in same-day or <12 hours.
