The City of Los Angeles Harbor Department is seeking qualified vendors to provide annual inspections and certifications of compressed natural gas (CNG) tanks on a variety of municipal and commercial vehicles. The contract covers inspection of tanks on makes and models ranging from pickup trucks to tractors, with detailed checklist items covering cleanliness, mounting integrity, pressure markings, and safety devices. Vendors must be accredited by the CSA Group, submit price‑plus‑percentage discount pricing, and be able to dispatch inspectors within two business days of a service request. The agreement is for a one‑year period with an estimated annual spend of $24,000, and includes optional renewal terms for up to two additional years.
• Perform per‑unit CNG tank inspection and certification (labor included).
• Provide incidental repair labor at hourly rates (parts billed separately).
