The County of San Mateo is seeking proposals for Blood Products & Blood Services. The selected vendor will provide blood supplies and related services to San Mateo Medical Center, including timely delivery of blood products, telephone consultation support, and transportation for reference samples. The vendor will also provide annual AABB educational opportunities and blood management CME for physicians. The contract term is five years. • The scope of work includes providing blood products, such as red blood cells, fresh frozen plasma, and platelets. • The vendor must meet minimum qualifications, including being licensed and meeting all local, state, and federal requirements to collect, process, and distribute blood products in the State of California. • The vendor must also provide proof of insurance coverage, including general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and professional liability. • The proposal must include a technical proposal, a fee proposal, and other required documents.
