Fourier-transform spectrometer

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a Fourier Transform Spectrometer (FTS) that must have continuous spectral coverage over the 2 mm to 11 mm wavelength range at high spectral resolution (0.5 cm-1 or better). This FTS must work with a user-supplied light source (laser or incoherent light source) and MCT-cooled detector. The equipment should meet certain minimum specifications, including compact design, spectral range, spectral resolution, and peak detectivity. • The FTS will be used for the development of new infrared drug sensors based on metamaterials. • The FTS must work with a user-supplied light source (laser or incoherent light source) and MCT-cooled detector. • The equipment should meet certain minimum specifications, including compact design, spectral range, spectral resolution, and peak detectivity. • Respondents should provide information about their company, the equipment they can provide, and its technical specifications. • Respondents should also describe performance capabilities of the product, any customization options, and any additional features or functions that may be beneficial to NIST.
