Emergency Bar Screen by Pass

The City of Hollywood is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors to construct a new Emergency Bypass Bar Screen System at the Southern Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project aims to create a fully functional bypass that can handle up to 140 million gallons per day during severe storm events or when the existing screening building must be taken offline for critical maintenance. The improvements will include installation of a new coarse bar screen structure, a 72-inch FRP/GRP bypass pipeline, a new junction box, extensive utility relocations, site restoration, and related electrical and control upgrades.
