Description
Rockford Public Schools is seeking a single Internet Service Provider to service the entire school district. The selected contractor will be responsible for implementing the solution, including coordination with the Owner's Operational Technology staff and existing service provider during all cut-over activities. The contractor must have a minimum of two years of experience with the current quoted solution, and the assigned contractor representative must have at least three years of project experience with a similar scope of work. The project requires the implementation of a dedicated internet access solution with a bandwidth of 5000 Mbps, IPv4 blocks, and a 5G or 10G circuit. The contractor shall provide a project plan, including a timeline, milestones, and post-implementation support.
• The project has a 3-year contract period with fixed monthly recurring prices.
• The contractor must have an E-rate SPIN and a 2026 Service Provider Annual Certification Form 473 on file with USAC.
• The project is dependent on E-rate funding approved by the SLD, enrollments, and existing budgetary requirements.
• The contractor shall carefully coordinate any construction activity with the Owner's designated Construction Manager personnel.
