City Facilities Janitorial Services

The City of Palm Desert is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive janitorial services for multiple City-owned facilities. The selected contractor will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary environments in accordance with City standards and the requirements set forth in this Request for Proposals. The scope of services includes daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning schedules for various facilities, including office areas, restrooms, break rooms, and exterior common areas. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and materials necessary to perform the services. • The City-owned facilities include Palm Desert City Hall, Henderson Community Center, Corporation Yard (1), Corporation Yard (2), Portola Community Center, State Building, Palm Desert Entrepreneurial Resource Center, Palm Desert Sheriff Substation, Palm Desert Library, and Palm Desert Aquatic Center. • The contractor must maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The contractor must possess and maintain all required permits, licenses, and certifications. • The contractor must assume responsibility and liability for the proper use of cleaning chemicals. • The contractor must hold a current City of Palm Desert Business License at the time of contract award.
