City Center Park - Planning/Design

The Urban Renewal Authority of Dacono (URAD) is seeking a consultant to provide design services for the City Center Park project. The selected firm will be responsible for concept and design development, and construction documentation. The project includes the development of a 35-acre park with various components such as multi-use sports fields, court sports, off-leash dog park, skate park, restrooms, event space, parking, and trails. The scope of work is divided into two phases, with the primary deliverable for Phase 1 being a preferred alternative Concept Plan, and Phase 2 advancing the Concept Plan to construction documents. • The consultant should have experience in parks and recreation design and programming, particularly in downtown and city center environments. • The consultant should be able to deliver site concepts, cost estimates, and strategy recommendations under defined timelines. • The consultant should have the ability to advance concept plans to Construction Documents to position this project for construction. • The consultant should have documented experience in grant writing and administration for both state and federal grants.
