Phase 2 Polk Building Renovations

The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide turnkey construction services at the Polk Building. The project includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire sprinklers, interior walls, interior finishes, interior doors, exterior metal doors, site work, landscaping, gutters, and cabinets and countertops. The contractor shall obtain and close out all required permits and provide a workmanship warranty of not less than one year for all renovation and general construction work. • The project has a mandatory pre-bid meeting on August 18, 2026, at 9:00 am. • The contractor shall provide a proposal security of 5% of the total cumulative base amount proposed. • The contractor shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. • The project has an estimated cost of $4,729,608. • The contractor shall coordinate with FPL to receive power to the building. • The contractor shall utilize the City's Procore system. • The contractor shall provide weekly schedule and progress updates. • The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, and any other necessary items for a complete and operational installation of the Phase 2 improvements.
