Description
The Butts County Board of Commissioners is seeking a qualified contractor to design and build a new Animal Services Care and Control Facility. The facility will be approximately 7,000 square feet and will include kennel areas, adoption and intake spaces, offices, veterinary exam/treatment areas, storage, laundry, restrooms, and mechanical rooms. The project will also include site work and landscaping. The contractor will be responsible for providing all design, engineering, and construction services necessary to deliver a fully functional animal care and control facility.
• The facility must be designed and constructed in compliance with local, state, and federal codes for animal care facilities.
• The project must be completed within the established budget of $1,000,000.
• The contractor must submit a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) or fixed lump sum.
• The contractor will be responsible for maintaining site cleanliness and erosion control during construction.
• The contractor will be required to provide a one-year warranty on all materials and workmanship.
