Hospital Aseptic Management Services (HAMS)

The U.S. Department of War (DoW) is seeking qualified sources to provide Hospital Aseptic Management Services (HAMS), which includes Regulated Medical Waste (RMW) collection, transportation, and disposal, alongside specialized Healthcare Environmental Cleaning (Aseptic/Medical Housekeeping) at various RAF locations in the United Kingdom. The services must comply with all applicable U.S. Department of War regulations, UK Environmental Agency standards, and host nation medical waste protocols. • The contract is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price contract. • The Government reserves the right to alter other contract types that would benefit both potential vendors and the Government. • The NAICS code for this opportunity is 562112 - Hazardous Waste Collection. • The PSC code is Q901 – Healthcare Environmental Cleaning. • The Government is seeking companies with recent and relevant corporate experience comparable in a medical facility, with a total of 24 months of experience in the previous 36 months. • Companies must be eligible for participation in one of the small business programs. • Companies must be International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA) Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) certified or demonstrate capability to obtain ISSA CIMS certification within 30 days of the contract’s start date.
