Description
The State of California, Department of General Services, Facilities Management Division, is seeking bids for door maintenance and repair services at various state buildings in the Sacramento area. The contract term is anticipated to be three years, and the winning bidder will be required to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the services. The bid submission must include a completed bid package with all required attachments, and the bidder must meet the minimum requirements, including having a valid Class C-17 Glazing Contractor and C-61 Limited Specialty Classification, D-28, Doors, Gates and Activating Devices license. The bid submission must also include proof of insurance and references.
• The services to be provided include preventive maintenance and repairs of doors and related equipment.
• The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder.
• The bidder must comply with prevailing wage rates and register with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) if required by law.
• The bidder must also comply with the California Civil Rights Laws Attachment and the Darfur Contracting Act.
• A non-mandatory walk-through is scheduled for October 23, 2025, and written questions must be submitted by October 27, 2025.
• The bid submission deadline is November 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
