Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting market research to obtain estimated pricing, product information, and industry feedback related to ongoing licensing, maintenance, support, and subscription services for a set of enterprise software capabilities used across multiple VA organizations. The VA relies extensively on brand-name VMware technologies (acquired by Broadcom) to provide core virtualization capabilities. The VA requires continued access to VMware licensing, updates, security patches, and technical support services essential for stable and secure virtualization operations. The VA also requires ongoing subscription and maintenance support for Broadcom Computer Associates (CA) Technologies mainframe software and maintenance and support for its existing Broadcom (CA) Service Virtualization perpetual licenses.
• The VA is requesting assistance in obtaining estimated pricing based on the products and services identified in the attachment.
• The results of the estimated pricing and technical capabilities shall be used to finalize the VA's requirements prior to issuing a solicitation.
• Respondents are required to provide a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) for the product/solution being proposed.
• Itemized pricing is required, and bundled pricing will not be accepted.
