Description
The State of Michigan is seeking a contractor to provide and install an ADA accessible vertical platform lift in the open stairway of the Michigan State Police Training Academy. The project includes all controls, wiring, cutting and patching of CMU and steel handrails as required, installation of 2 stop vertical lift platform, all controls and any upgrades required to the fire alarm system interface. The contractor must figure its Base Bid on the specified materials and equipment only, and no "or equal" or substitution proposals will be permitted after bid opening.
• The project requires a performance bond and a payment bond for all bids over $50,000.
• The contractor must also provide proof of insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• The project is expected to last for 150 days.
• The prevailing wage rates for the project will be based on the official rate schedule for Eaton County.
