Description
The Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners is seeking a legal services provider to furnish legal services as described in the RFP. The selected contractor will be required to dedicate 40-60 hours per month to provide legal representation, perform legal research, draft contracts and agreements, and advise the board on legal matters. The contractor will also be required to attend board meetings and committee meetings. The contract term is anticipated to be from 02/15/26 through 06/30/26, with the option to renew for up to two additional two-year periods.
• The contractor must be licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
• The contractor must have experience in advising governmental organizations and drafting language for filings under KRS Chapters 13A and 13B.
• The contractor must be able to meet deadlines imposed by the courts and the client.
• The contractor must be available to provide services during a given 12-month period and attend scheduled board meetings and committee meetings.
