Clean Ambassador Program

The City of Hollywood's Department of Public Works (DPW) is seeking a qualified vendor to create and maintain a Clean Ambassador Program. The program will provide maintenance services in specific areas of the Downtown Hollywood Districts, supplementing the baseline level of services provided by the City. The selected vendor will be responsible for staffing, managing, training, deploying, monitoring, and evaluating all aspects of the program. The program will include services such as de-littering, removing graffiti, and performing special maintenance tasks. The contract term will be for an initial five-year period, with the option to renew for two additional two-year periods. Key aspects of the program include: • Providing a minimum of 260 total service hours per week • Employing a minimum of two Clean Ambassadors and one Supervisor per shift • Performing tasks such as de-littering, removing graffiti, and assisting with special events • Maintaining a workforce that meets specific qualifications, including being at least 18 years old, holding a high school diploma, and having experience in customer service • Ensuring that all Ambassador personnel are fully trained and knowledgeable about the City of Hollywood and the Downtown District
