JOC On-Call Plumbing

The City of Tucson is seeking qualified contractors to provide on-call plumbing services, including installation, alteration, and repair of plumbing and appurtenances, line cleaning, rootering, and pumping services. The contract will be for a term of two years with three additional one-year periods. The contractor will be required to respond to emergency calls within 1.5 hours and routine calls within three working days. The contractor will also be required to provide all necessary equipment and materials to complete the work. The city reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time with or without cause. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing labor, materials, equipment, and service needed to perform emergency repairs of water and sewer lines • Installing, altering, and repairing all piping, fixtures, appliances, and appurtenances related to water supply • Providing sewer and vent pipe cleaning and rooter service • Pumping services for swimming pools, outdoor irrigation systems, building sumps, and drainage containments • Responding to emergency calls within 1.5 hours and routine calls within three working days • Providing all necessary equipment and materials to complete the work • Obtaining and maintaining all necessary permits and paying for all permit fees
