Description
The State of Maryland’s Department of Information Technology is issuing a Purchase Order Request for Proposal (PORFP) to acquire Ciena network communication equipment and related accessories for the NTM0021794 – DPSCS non‑video project in the Eastern LATA. Only Master Contractors holding the existing “Hardware and Associated Equipment and Services 2012, 060B2490022” contract may submit. The scope includes routers, power supplies, multiple software licenses (SAOS suite, Navigator), various optics (SFP, QSFP28), and optional installation, training, and extended warranty services. Bids must be submitted electronically via the eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA) system by 2:30 PM on 9/11/2026. Questions are due by 10:00 AM on 9/8/2026. The State reserves the right to adjust quantities and requires a 90‑day price validity.
• Required items: 2 Ciena 3948 routers, power supplies, several software licenses (perpetual), and multiple optics (10 Gb, 1 Gb, 100 Gb).
• Quantity totals: approximately 2 routers, 2 power supplies, 12 software licenses, 16 optics.
• Optional services: installation/training, manufacturer’s extended warranty, and managed spares/support contracts (1‑year terms).
• Eligibility: Master Contractors under the referenced master contract; must be authorized Ciena reseller and provide LOA if requested.
• Submission: eMMA portal only; include MSRP screenshots, lead‑time estimates, and compliance with invoicing requirements.
