Fuel Tank Cleaning Services

The City of Santa Rosa is seeking bids for fuel tank cleaning services over a 2-year period, with the option of three (3) one-year extensions. The facilities include both above-ground and below-ground storage tanks located throughout the City of Santa Rosa. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing optical inspection, cleaning and filtering, fuel polishing, removal of contaminants, and waste disposal services for each tank. The quote should include all labor, equipment, travel, materials, and disposal costs required to perform the Scope of Services. • Optical Inspection: Conduct a thorough visual inspection of each tank to assess fuel condition, identify contaminants, and determine the level of sediment, water, or microbial presence. • Cleaning and Filtering: Perform complete cleaning and filtration of fuel to remove impurities and ensure optimal fuel quality. • Fuel Polishing: Carry out fuel polishing to restore fuel quality, including circulating fuel through multi-stage filtration systems to remove suspended particulates. • Removal of Contaminants: Extract and remove all water, bacterial sludge, rust particles, and other contaminants found within the tanks. • Waste Disposal: Properly handle and dispose of all waste materials in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
