Description
The DeKalb County School District is seeking qualified vendors to provide information for the K-12 Fresh Pizza Program. The purpose of this RFI is to gather information from vendors that currently offer comprehensive K-12 Fresh Pizza Programs for school nutrition operations. The district is looking for information on available products, equipment, operational models, training services, branding opportunities, and industry best practices related to fresh pizza programs within K-12 school districts.
• The RFI includes questions about company information, fresh pizza program overview, pizza food products, packaging and branding, training and operational support, equipment and smallware requirements, ovens and production capacity, merchandising, kiosks, and warmers, program implementation, and references.
• The district is seeking information on how vendors can provide high-quality, USDA-compliant personal pan-style pizzas while supporting efficient cafeteria operations.
• The RFI is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a competitive solicitation, contract offer, or commitment by DCSD to issue a future solicitation or award a contract.
