Description
The Baltimore County Department of Social Services is seeking a contractor to provide overnight summer camp services for siblings in foster care. The camp should be located within the State of Maryland and have the capacity to accommodate at least 100 participants. The contractor will be responsible for providing dedicated space, recreational activities, meals, and transportation. The contract period is from May 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026, with a possible four-month renewal option.
Some key responsibilities of the contractor include:
• Providing a safe and secure environment for the campers
• Developing a camp schedule that includes recreational activities, meals, and transportation
• Ensuring that all camp staff are trained and certified to work with children
• Providing access to medical care and emergency services
• Maintaining confidentiality and privacy regarding the participation of all campers
The ideal contractor will have experience operating a summer camp, a strong understanding of the needs of children in foster care, and the ability to provide a safe and supportive environment.
