KJC JMAC Boilers and Hot Water Heater Replacement Project

The University is seeking a qualified contractor to execute a complete mechanical overhaul of the boiler and domestic hot‑water systems at the John J. Moore Athletics & Fitness Center. This turn‑key, lump‑sum contract requires removal of existing steam boilers, gas‑fired hot‑water heaters, pumps, feed units, and associated air‑handling equipment, followed by installation of new equipment, piping, controls, electrical wiring, and all supporting infrastructure. The work must be coordinated to minimize disruption to building operations and comply with all applicable codes and standards. • Remove and replace existing steam boilers, domestic hot‑water heaters, return pump, boiler feed unit, and HVAC air‑handling unit. • Install new mechanical equipment, complete piping, controls, electrical wiring, supports, and accessories for a fully operational system. • Perform related demolition, coordination, and incidental trades (e.g., carpentry) to ensure seamless integration and continuity of facility use. • Provide required 10 % bid bond and, if awarded, 100 % performance and payment bonds; document good‑faith efforts toward New Jersey SBE goals. • Submit sealed electronic bids by the deadline; attend optional pre‑bid conference for clarification.
