Description
The City of Pensacola is seeking qualified financial institutions and/or firms to provide loan program development, underwriting, administration, servicing, and compliance monitoring services for housing and community development programs. The selected institutions/firms will serve as expert advisors to the city on the appropriate processes needed to ensure the program(s) comply with all applicable financial regulations and meet the City's goals and objectives defined in each program's establishing documents. The scope of services includes program support and consultation, loan application intake and underwriting, loan closing and documentation, loan servicing and administration, compliance monitoring, inspections, and reporting. The City is looking for institutions/firms with experience in underwriting, loan servicing, and compliance monitoring, as well as a strong understanding of public-sector requirements.
Some key points to consider:
* The City is seeking multiple qualified financial institutions and/or firms.
* The contract term is five years with provisions for two one-year extensions upon mutual agreement.
* The City reserves the right to select directly from the statements of qualifications.
* The evaluation criteria include experience and firm qualifications, key personnel, approach to services, technology and data security, financial stability, and references and past performance.
