Description
The City of Trenton is seeking a consultant to provide business attraction services for a period of one year, with an option to extend for an additional year. The consultant will continue to reach out to targeted businesses and bring them to Trenton, update and expand the commercial property inventory, assess and produce recruitment materials as necessary, and train City staff on business attraction. The consultant must have 20 years of experience attracting businesses to relocate to downtown areas throughout the State of New Jersey. Some key tasks include:
• Continuing to reach out to targeted businesses and bring them to Trenton
• Updating and expanding the commercial property inventory
• Assessing and producing recruitment materials as necessary
• Training City staff on business attraction
The City's goal is to fill 40 identified vacant commercial spaces in the initial target area along State Street.
