Description
The City of Portales is seeking a sole‑source contract for professional engineering services to finish the design phase of the Portales Wellfields Improvements Project. The selected firm will be responsible for completing detailed design documents, technical analyses, permitting support, cost estimating, and all deliverables necessary to move the project to construction. The contract is valued at $518,799 and must be performed between early October 2026 and late January 2027.
• Design‑phase deliverables include plans, specifications, hydraulic and hydrogeologic analyses, and bid packages.
• Contractor must have prior involvement as Engineer of Record on this project and possess all existing studies, models, and data.
• Work must be completed by 1/24/2027, aligning with project funding schedules and permitting deadlines.
