Appraisers

The Houston Housing Authority (HHA) is seeking qualified and licensed appraisal professionals to provide real property appraisal services for various residential and commercial properties within their portfolio. The selected appraiser(s) will be responsible for conducting property inspections, performing market analyses, and preparing certified appraisal reports in compliance with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The scope of work includes providing comprehensive appraisal services for various housing projects and properties owned or managed by HHA. The primary objective of these appraisal services is to assist in determining the market value of properties for acquisition, property sale, financing, tax assessments, and other related purposes. • The appraiser shall conduct their services in accordance with USPAP standards, FHA guidelines, and Texas Appraiser Licensing & Certification Board regulations. • The appraiser shall provide a comprehensive appraisal report detailing the value of the property, the methodology used, the data collected, and any assumptions made. • The appraiser shall ensure confidentiality and handle all information related to HHA properties with the highest level of security and discretion. • The appraiser shall adhere to the delivery requirements, including submitting appraisal reports within 14 business days from the date of the property inspection.
