Description
The City of Alexandria is soliciting vendors to supply new, PFAS‑free fire‑department uniforms and related alteration services on an “as‑needed” basis. The contract is for 12 months with a possible renewal, and the vendor must maintain stocked inventory, provide bi‑weekly on‑site alteration visits, and handle all required emblem, screen‑printing, and embroidery work at no extra charge (embroidery extra). Bids must be submitted by June 30 2026.
• Supply a full catalogue of fire‑department uniform items (jackets, shirts, trousers, caps, sweaters, etc.) with unit pricing and size‑based price adjustments.
• Maintain a stocking and alteration facility and travel to the City’s facility (1000 Bolton Ave.) at least twice per month for alterations, completing adjustments within 7 calendar days at no cost to the City.
• All garments must be PFAS‑free; screen‑printing costs are to be included in unit prices, while embroidery rates must be listed separately.
