Transport Services for E-Waste & Household Hazardous Waste

The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking a contractor to provide transport services for household hazardous waste (HHW) and electronic waste (E-Waste). The contractor will be responsible for door-to-door transport of HHW and E-Waste from the City's collection facility in Juneau to designated Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facilities (TSDFs) in Washington state. The contractor will also provide northbound barge transport for approximately 50,000 lbs of annual collection supplies. The contract will be in effect from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 with an automatic annual renewal period for three additional years. Key aspects of the job include: * Transporting approximately 300 tons of HHW and 75 tons of E-Waste annually * Providing door-to-door transport services with an expected equipment turnaround time of 28 calendar days * Meeting minimum tonnage charges per container * Complying with all applicable Federal, State, City laws and regulations * Providing proof of insurance and meeting the City's insurance requirements * Submitting pricing for the services outlined in the bid schedule * Completing and uploading all required solicitation documents * Acknowledging and accepting the terms and conditions of the contract.
