Description
Midwestern State University is seeking a qualified vendor to supply, deliver, and install a detailed inventory of specialty interior lighting fixtures across multiple campus spaces, including lobbies, conference rooms, stairwells, and study areas. The contract requires strict compliance with specified manufacturers, Buy‑American requirements for certain LED fixtures, and a Texas HUB subcontracting plan, with all items to be new, FOB destination, and delivered within the bidder‑stated timeframe (default 14 days). Evaluation will heavily weight cost (70 %) and compliance/performance (30 %).
• Provide exact makes/models (Wade‑Logan, Allmodern, Mori, Nemo, Koncept, Philips Forecast, Finelite, etc.) – no substitutions without written approval.
• Submit a sealed bid (or email) by 2 p.m. CT on Nov 30 2017, including detailed pricing, delivery schedule, HUB plan, insurance certificates, and W‑9.
• Must meet Texas HUB subcontracting, Buy‑American Act for Finelite Series 12 LED fixtures, and university’s tax‑exempt status (prices exclude tax).
• Delivery must occur during normal business hours (8 a.m.–5 p.m.) to the campus; delays must be reported in writing.
