Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Family & Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) is seeking information from potential vendors to provide a fireworks display show aboard Defense Distribution Center Susquehanna, New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, for the FMWR Susquehanna Summerfest 2026. The successful vendor will be responsible for designing, setting up, executing, and cleaning up a professional fireworks display that is both visually stunning and meets all safety requirements. The display should be approximately 20-30 minutes in duration and incorporate a variety of effects, colors, and patterns.
Key requirements include:
• Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding the storage, handling, transportation, and firing of fireworks
• Securing all necessary permits and licenses
• Providing adequate safety barriers and security personnel to protect the audience and property
• Developing a comprehensive safety plan that addresses potential hazards and emergency procedures
• Providing proof of insurance, including liability coverage
• Thoroughly cleaning the launch site and surrounding areas after the display
