Security Glass & Facility Hardening Services (T&M)

The St. Mary’s County Government is seeking bids for an on-call, time and materials contract to provide security glass replacement, installation, and facility hardening upgrades at County facilities. The contract includes laminated glass, polycarbonate, mirrored, tempered, insulated, tinted, or ballistic glazing, and related upgrades such as frames, caulking, fasteners, and other facility hardening and improvement projects. The bidder shall be responsible for all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the required glass replacements, installations, and facility hardening projects. • The contract is for one base year with four one-year options renewable by mutual agreement. • The contractor shall provide a service vehicle with an adequate stock of materials, tools, and equipment to provide the contracted services. • The contractor shall maintain an accurate record of all accidents incident to work performed under this contract. • The contractor shall be responsible for protecting the lives and health of employees and other persons, preventing damage to property, materials, supplies, and equipment, and avoiding work interruptions. • The contractor shall comply with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances applicable to its activities and obligations under this contract.
