J065--Intent to Sole Source: Olympus OER Elite Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is giving notice of its intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Olympus America Inc. for the provision of preventative and corrective maintenance services for Olympus OER-ELITE Endoscope Reprocessors. The contract will be for a fixed price and will require the contractor to provide all necessary labor, travel, equipment, materials, and supervision to perform the maintenance services at the Bay Pines VA Health Care System and the Lee County VA Clinic in Florida. The VA believes that Olympus America Inc. is the only authorized provider of the required services and parts, and therefore, a competitive solicitation is not necessary.
