This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance, repair, inspection, and LED‑lighting upgrades for ten county‑owned radio towers ranging from 350 ft to 800 ft in height. The work includes routine condition‑assessment, compliance with FCC and FAA regulations, management of NOTAMs, grounding and surge‑protection, detailed reporting, and a five‑year warranty on all installed parts. The contractor must supply a two‑person crew, all required rigging and climbing equipment, and handle all logistics, including travel and ancillary costs subject to prior county approval.
• Perform scheduled quarterly inspections, testing, and synchronization of tower lighting systems, plus ad‑hoc corrective repairs.
• Replace non‑compliant incandescent/xenon fixtures with FAA‑approved LED units (FAA‑L‑810(L)/L‑864(L) IR‑compliant) on specified towers.
• Provide all required insurance coverage (CGL, auto, workers’ comp, umbrella, crane, aviation, etc.) with specified limits and A‑M Best A‑10+ rating.
