The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified contractor to perform comprehensive backflow preventer testing, inspection, maintenance, repair, and replacement services for approximately 208 devices across the municipal water system. The work includes inventory verification, annual testing per state and utility regulations, same‑day emergency response, detailed reporting, online data access, and coordination of quarterly inspection schedules. The contractor must provide qualified technicians, maintain required insurance and certifications, and comply with OSHA and city site‑access rules.
• Perform annual testing/inspection of ~208 backflow preventers city‑wide.
