The Indian Health Service, Great Plains Area is seeking a contractor to provide licensing, maintenance, and support for their Laboratory Information Systems. The contractor must have at least five years of experience providing middleware support to an IHS or US Veterans Affairs hospital. The system requirements include the ability to interface with the existing HL7 interface, provide programming services, and support industry standard protocols. The contractor will be responsible for providing support services, including non-emergency customer service, 24/7 emergency support, and access to a customer web portal. • The contractor must provide proof of experience with providing middleware support to an IHS or US Veterans Affairs hospital. • The contractor must be able to interface with the existing HL7 interface and provide programming services. • The contractor must support industry standard protocols such as HL7, ASTM, XML, CSV, and CDF. • The contractor will be responsible for providing support services, including non-emergency customer service and 24/7 emergency support. • The contractor must provide access to a customer web portal for IHS personnel to download instrument drivers, create and monitor incidents, and access training materials.
