SE Salix Drive – Veterans Parkway to SE 1st Street

The City of West Des Moines is seeking bids for the SE Salix Drive Improvements project, which includes grading and PCC paving, storm sewer, water main, sanitary force main, and fiber optic conduit. The project is estimated to be completed by October 31, 2026. The bid includes various items such as clearing and grubbing, topsoil, excavation, subgrade preparation, and more. The city reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any and/or all technicalities and/or all irregularities. • The project requires the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements. • The kinds of materials, estimated quantities, and work to be done for the project are shown on the bid proposal. • All work is to be done in strict compliance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by HDR Engineering, Inc. • The bid security shall be made payable to the City of West Des Moines, Iowa, and not contain any conditions either in the body or as an endorsement thereon.
