Biomass Grinding and Hauling

The Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) is seeking proposals for grinding and hauling of slash piles created from timber harvests to be used as hog fuel. The successful applicant will be reimbursed at the rates shown in the Cost Proposal section of the Scope of Work document. All grinding, hauling, and billing must be completed by September 30, 2029, unless an extension is granted by DNRC and the EPA. • The project involves grinding and hauling of an estimated 44,000 tons of slash from timber harvest units to the Weyerhaeuser boiler location in Columbia Falls. • A mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be conducted on January 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM. • Offerors must download and review the attached Offeror Qualifications document and the Cost Proposal document. • The contract contains Federal funds, and the contractor will be required to fill out and sign a document related to this.
