Medical Gas

The County of Lexington is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide Medical Gas Services. The contract covers the pickup of empty cylinders and replacement with full cylinders at the sites indicated. The County owns various cylinders, and the contractor will rent the balance of cylinders from the County on a per month basis. The contractor will be responsible for cylinder set-up/installation, maintenance, and service records. Medical gas cylinders will be picked up/delivered weekly at the Lexington EMS Dept. • The contractor must supply and service cylinders where indicated. • The contractor must keep all rented equipment service-ready. • The contractor must keep accurate service records for each location. • The contractor must fulfill special telephone service requests within one business day. • The County will use a phase-in method to allow for a smooth transition from the current contractor to the new contractor.
