Cooling Tower

The VA Portland Health Care System is seeking a new 50‑ton cooling tower to replace an existing evaporative unit at the T‑51 building in Portland, Oregon. The scope includes supplying a forced‑draft, closed‑loop cooling tower that operates on 3‑phase 480 V/60 Hz power, with no additional pump station required. The contractor must provide the tower, ensure compatibility with existing chilled water pressure (approx. 80 psi) and volume, and accommodate future Bacnet connectivity (currently not installed). The location is on the northwest side of the building (lot 8). No MIL‑STD compliance is required, and safety ladders or catwalks are not needed.
